I do remember Vaughn Meader's impressions. I think my parents had that LP.
Wasn't the June Cleaver flip hairdo, which debuted in the 5th season (1961) a la Jackie Kennedy style? |

The one thing I noticed concerning Barbara Billingsley’s hair styles on the show was how her color seemed to be a very lighter shade of blond during the fifth or sixth season of the show.
Hugh Beaumont’s hair color didn’t seem nearly as dark (almost Kiwi Shoe Polish Black) during the final two seasons of LITB as it was during the first two seasons of the show. Of course, watching these episodes in black-and-white made it difficult to get an accurate look at their hair colors. It was quite surprising to see the skin tones of Herman and Lily Munster, along with Grandpa and little Eddie Munster, on that so-so Munsters movie that came out after the original black-and-white Munsters tv series went off the air. |

I always feels sorry for teens to wear braces. I never had to but I wonder how much teasing they got. But i guess it's a situation you should do if you have crooked teeth. In the long run, you are probably glad your parents could spend the money for you don't want crooked teeth when you are looking for job, wife, etc.

For the western shows, the bad teeth worked well for the actor for no one except the extreme rich could afford dental work in the late 1800's.

The prospect of Hoss Cartwright or Festus Haggen going to a dentist to get their teeth whitened. Oy vey!

I think the blond-haired girl on the left is Carol Faylen, the daughter of actor Frank Faylen.
Frank Faylen was best known for appearing as grocer Herbert T. Gillis, the father of teenager Dobie Gillis on “The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis.” PS Carol Faylen was also the ex-sister-in-law of the late Regis Philbin, also known as “Mr. All-Time Ubiquity of American Television.” |
