YES !!!! So for that reason alone , not having to see Alex anymore after this makes The Honeymoon a good episode! LOL !

It’s too much like that Paris episode. Let’s go on a trip/honeymoon but one of us gets sick/injured.
And basically the same thing happened on Gimme a break , Jonathan and Julie's honeymoon . He got injured on a ski vacation , same as Sam . Not skiing . I think Jonathan fell down in the ski lodge gift shop or something.

But the ODAAT ep.came before the GAB ep. By a few years.

You guys know the hotel bellboy guy in the Honeymoon was also Mr. Butterfield, Chuck's Dad in The Runaways , season 2 right? He always plays a goofy character.

Yeah. I think I thought maybe LA , getting mixed up with Max and Julie flying there for the underwater birth. So that was pretty fresh on my mind. But not sure why I thought maybe Hawaii? I doubt there would even be a direct flight from Indy to Hawaii?

Oh yeah! He gets around. And speaking of Gimme a break , he was a regular on GAB playing a cop, Officer Simpson. Now this guy TOTALLY does not seem like a cop , that was a weird casting.

Second time around was a good episode . I liked how it brought the whole family together.

Max holding the wedding cake in the elevator in the middle of Ann and Sam fighting , and Max had no idea what was even going on !

And The Honeymoon was pretty funny I thought at first , but could have done a little side story , what was going on back at the apt. It got a little boring after a while.

The TV trope of the goofy cop. Think Car 54 Where Are You, Murray on The Odd Couple, people like that. Sitcom cop, not drama cop.

I got to see " Sisters". I found a few full episodes of ODAAT on YouTube and Sisters was among them.

Love it. One of my all time favorite episodes.wow 400 dollars rent for a 2 bedroom house. I looked it up 400 dollars in 1982 had the buying power of 1,368 in 2026. Still a good price. You can barely even rent a one bedroom apt.for that price these days. In LA, a small old studio apt.rents for about that much.

My 1 bedroom days are over unless I hit a moonshot at the casino lol I been in a two room studio for 10 years after the one bedroom got too pricey

But I am so used to have my privacy that I can never ever share a place with family
