And now its my favorite Sid & Marty Kroft Show.

Hopefully that makes the Kitschen.
There were three seasons of Land of the Lost, and season 1 is coming to DVD later this year. I believe they said season 2 might be out by the end of the year.

I remember watching Land of The Lost when it was in reruns for a brief period in 1980,Sci-Fi Network aired reruns of Land Of The Lost in the mornings back in the mid 90's as well. When Fox Family was the Family Channel, they aired The Bugaloos,H.R. Pufnstuff,Lidsville, and Sigmund and the Sea Monsters on Saturday mornings back in the mid 90's as well.

The Kroffts did design the costumes for the "Banana Splits" but had no other involvement in the production.

Awww, no Electra Woman & Dynagirl?

Anyway, I picked Land of the Lost out of that list, EW & DG is my second favorite.

Default ahh, Krofft shows

Pufnstuf will always be my # 1 since it was once of the first TV shows that I enjoyed as a child in the late 60's.

I also dig Land of the Lost & Far Out Space Nuts.

I love the new Pufnstuf DVD set, and willl buy the LotL DVD set when it is released.

If anyone from Rhino Retrovision reads these boards, please consider a Far Out Space Nuts DVD set, it's a GREAT kid friendly show that I'd love to enjoy with my children.

I LOVE KROFFT SHOWS!

I was thinking that, too. I think it aired originally even before HR Pufnstuf, didn't it? I remember watching it as a real little kid. It was cute. The theme song was great! The whole intro to the Banana Splits used to be on the Retromedia website, but the site is now "kaput"!

"One banana, two banana, three banana, four

Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more..."

Land Of The Lost.

I just watched a few episodes last week or so and was struck by just how horrible the production was....yet the quality of the writing was such that the actors were able to pull of something watchable. I'm not ragging on Sid & Marty, just commenting on the fact that they were working with low-quality sets and costumes and effects and were able to make a show that thousands of people remember and love.
