Garry Marshall started using the show to teach people stuff, but he should have stuck to comedy.

Well, it made 2 mistakes;

1. Not making a Ralph and Potsie spin-off
2. Adding Flip and KC

I think adding Chachi was the biggest mistake. He and his 1970s hair and style just dragged the show into a teen beat pin up show. It facilitated Fonzie taking over the show. No Chachi also would have meant no Joanie Loves Chachi which would of been a good thing. The show was already steamrolling along with catchphrases but adding the teen heartthrob really ruined the show. Don't forget Chachi burned down Arnolds!!!!
