Garth Brooks has been a monster powerhouse star in country music since he debuted in 1989 and Garth Brooks could even be called a legend of country music. In 2003 Garth Brooks appeared in his only Dr. Pepper commercial and the commercial featured Garth singing the new "at the time" jingle/slogan for Dr. Pepper Drink Dr. Pepper Be You. I didn't even know Garth Brooks did commercials and Dr. Pepper must've given Garth Brooks a lot of money to do this commercial. Also at the end of this commercial Dr. Pepper promoted Garth's album Scarecrow so Dr. Pepper must've also sponsored his tours too

I think why Garth Brooks decided to do this Dr. Pepper commercial was to honor the release of his album Scarecrow and basically as I mentioned was to have Dr. Pepper sponsor his tour. But when you put country singers in commercials it seems to help market their career and make their star shine bright
