He was also in all 11 episodes of the TV adaptation of Dirty Dancing. I won't vote because I've never seen In The Beginning or Dirty Dancing. I did enjoy what little I got to see of The McLean Stevenson Show.

I didn’t overlook Dirty Dancing, but I was doing sitcoms and Google calls it a drama. Since I’ve never seen it either I wasn’t in the mood to argue with them.

I have no memory of ever watching the show. I don't know if it had a laugh track.

It's listed as a comedy/drama in The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows and on the Wikipedia page. I tend to think of the 30-minute shows more as comedies. It would probably be considered a dramedy by many experts.
