Yeah, that was far-fetched! Max was young, in good shape and good health. Very unlikely he would pull his back out that bad just by showing the correct way to swing a baseball bat . And for his back to be

that bad for days!

Did you think that kid Frankie with the glasses was a girl at first? We did ( Opus and I) first time we watched this.

Does anyone else feel Hardball is another pre-Mark episode? Not season 6, because Alex is already living there, but originally meant to run earlier in season 7. Alex tries to get Barbara to coach with the promise of cute guys, which for a second interests her. Doesn’t feel like she’s engaged.

And in the opening conversation between Barbara and Max it doesn’t sound like Julie is pregnant.

Frankie rules. “First baseman Alex Handris charges the ball, he scoops it up……no, he kicks it”

I still occasionally say that when the Yankees make an error.

Yeah it is because Alex mentioned the cute guys which meant she was single

Yeah. I'm still confused by this. But Max and Alex were saying he not she , so Frankie was definitely a boy. I thought he looked like Darlene in the early seasons of Roseanne.

Max goes " HE KICKS IT" !!?? At this point he was about to have a heart attack. That was funny when he said to Barbara " Forget my back, I need a cardiologist" .

Yes. Very much seemed like it was pre Mark and pre Julie with a bun in the oven.

Peacock has game 2 of Sixers-Celts tonight. Although not watching it may be a good thing. But I have it so I can look in.

IMDb says “he”. I see ODAAT was his last ever acting work. He must have figured that after being around Valerie everything else was downhill.

Anyplace you might have seen him?

They have him being on 6 episodes of a sitcom with Mike Evans and ODAAT connections Shelley Faberes (Francine) and David Spielberg (the married guy Ann hooked up with).

I don’t know if that’s him as one of the kids on the DVD cover
