Yeah. I guess. Ann's dramatics kind of upstaged the engagement announcement.

Barbara went in her room to play with her dolls.

Max's Father could have been the one to be a con man romancing Grandma.

The con man angle fit Francine though. I guess the underlying point of the episode was to show why Francine was the way she was, pulling all the previous cons and scams on Ann. Runs in the family.

By the way, in case you missed it the Sixers made the playoffs last night. Get Boston in the first round.

Oh no! Out here in LA , we hate Boston too. The Lakers/ Celtics rivalry has been going on for decades!

Yes. Exactly. And it also showed that as shrewd and conniving Francine is, she draws a line and has a heart. She really had Grandma's back. She didn't want to see Ann's Mother being conned even if it was by her own Father.

GO SIXERS! Also Lakers and Rockers. GO LAKERS ( I'm rooting g against Max's team . ) were the Rockets even a team back in the early 80's though? Or are they a newer team?

They've been around. Started in 1967 in San Diego, moved to Houston in '71.

She should like it. The Celtics dominate them in the playoffs.

Lakers ! Been out here since 1985. But than if it's the Eagles & Rams playing , it's a tough decision. I guess cause I grew up around more football fans than basketball fans.

The first one tonight is the saddest episode. How could they do that to her?

The second one contains TVFactFan’s most memorable line

I think its because she thinks eventually the 76ers will find a way to beat boston and that the dominance wont last forever lol

Even though the first ep was sad I like how things ended for Barb and schneider. Mark ended up proposing after her news and Schneider got his party he thought he didnt have.
