Its flattering to a certain extent, but when I see someone doing it that i'm not to fond of, its just plain annoying.

It's annoying, especially if what you've done has taken a lot of time and skill.

If someone does that, that means that at some point, somewhere, at some time, I did something that got someone else's attention. Obviously that's going to make me conversely.

Simultaneously, however, if someone copies you repeatedly, or for too long, it gets annoying.

It depends. I don't like it when someone I'm close to buys a coat too similiar to mine or something like that. This isn't high school, lol.
