During the time Everybody Loves Raymond had ended it's run Brad Garrett moved on to a new venture and that venture was becoming 7Up's new spokesman in their commercials. I don't know how 7Up chose Brad Garrett to be their spokesman but seeing how Brad Garrett became popular due to Everybody Loves Raymond might've been the main reason. Brad made his first 7Up commercial in 2008 and would be their spokesman till 2009. I guess Brad Garrett wanted to do more commercials and it's surprising that you don't see Brad Garrett do more commercials because he is such a funny guy
