Hi
I have these 17 Arsenio Hall shows below. If you have any episodes not on this list, feel free to contact me if you want to do a trade. Please note that I primarily trade via snail mail and physical media. There is a possibility I could get a friend to conduct a digital trade for me but I am not promising that. It would obviously require me to ask someone a favor to do this and I don't want to make any promises if I can't carry out a digital trade. Arsenio Hall Show collection (17 Discs) *More shows have been added since creating this post, scroll down this thread to see the updates. General info: I have outlined the quality and other information regarding the shows as clearly and honestly as possible below. This way there are no disappointments when you get them. One cannot expect Pristine and HD quality that we are currently use to now from shows recorded on VHS, most likely in the EP speed from 35 years ago or more. The shows I have are pretty good considering those factors. *There is One show per disc. *Shows contain original commercials and are complete. Having said that, Some shows may be missing a bit of the closing credits because the network that broadcasted the show chose to cut them off to go to commercials. This was not the doing of the person who recorded them. *All shows are in reasonably good quality, most likely transferred from off air EP recorded VHS tapes and were transferred to disc in the 1-hour mode *Some discs have a few minutes of unrelated footage before and after the show. A few discs may also have an annoying few seconds of loud static at the start or end. None of this affects the show presented on the disc, but whoever transferred the shows recorded them from VHS to DVD this way. Had I transferred these shows from VHS myself, the extra crap wouldn't be present but I am certainly not going to spend time re-authoring these discs. That is something you can do yourself if you wish. The shows are on the disc are complete, as they were aired and recorded. *There are 10 minute chapter marks on each disc with generic DVD recorder menus. That means the menu does not have a listing of the show date or guest. It basically just includes the speed that the show was recorded in as well as the running length of the disc. That is how the original person created the disc and how I received it on my copy. Since typing up this list, I was able to find actual air dates for most of the 17 shows whereas previously I only had two so I think that's pretty good, considering there isn't a definitive database with accurate information. Please note that any shows that I have received since posting this initial list can be found in updates located below. If you want shows from this listing, please indicate your choice by disc number. If you want shows that were added in updates below this post, please indicate your choice by the listed air date and mention at least one guest that appeared on that show as well. Thanks. ************ Disc 1: Steven Seagal, Kelly LeBrock, Clifton Davis and Anna Maria Horsford ("Amen" cast members) and George Lopez (1990, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 2: Eddie Murphy and Tyne Daly (7/13/89, 60 minutes with original commercials- a bit of the closing segment and closing credits are cut off) Disc 3: Lisa Bonet, Danny Glover and Joe Jackson (Is She Really Going Out With Him and Down To London) (7/12/89, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 4: Ricardo Montalban, Holly Robinson-Peete and Robert Davi (7/11/89, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 5: Bo Jackson, Jonathan Silverman, and Howard Jones (No One Is To Blame and The Prisoner) (7/10/89, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 6: Dana Delaney, Elizabeth McGovern and Martika (I Feel The Earth Move, Toy Soldiers and brief chat) (9/29/89, 60 minutes with original commercials. Missing a few seconds of opening credits) Disc 7: Danny Devito, Michael Douglas and Terence Trent D'Arby (Roly Poly and To Know Someone Deeply Is to Know Someone Softly) (12/15/89, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 8: Diahann Carroll, Allison Smith, "Mystery Guest" David Cassidy and Was (Not Was) (Anything Can Happen and a bit of Walk The Dinosaur- cut off by closing credits) (5/23/89, 60 minutes with original commercials. Has occasional picture shakiness and minor tracking flutter at the bottom of the screen. It's noticeable but it doesn't hinder viewing enjoyment) Disc 9: Kenny G (Theme from "Dying Young" and interview) , Beverly DeAngelo and Debbie Allen (1991, 60 minutes with original commercials. This show has some minor buzzing in the audio) Disc 10: Mark Harmon, Meshach Taylor and Stevie Nicks (Stand Back and Love's A Hard Game To Play) (11/12/91, 60 minutes with original commercials, has grainy TV reception and minor audio buzz) Disc 11: Sam Elliott, Jasmine Guy and Donny Osmond (Soldier Of Love and interview) (5/18/89, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 12: Al Green (Let's Stay Together, As Long As We're Together and interview), Morton Downey Jr. and Sally Kirkland (May 1990, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 13: Levar Burton, Jim Henson and Edie Brickell and The New Bohemians (What I Am and Love Like We Do) (5/22/89, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 14: Dana Plato (discusses Playboy pictorial), Stephen Furst and Bonnie Raitt (Thing Called Love and Love Letter) (4/25/89, 60 minutes with original commercials) Disc 15: JoBeth Williams, Brian Robbins and The Escape Club (Wild Wild West, Walking Through Walls and interview) (1989, 60 minutes with original commercials, most of closing credits cut off by TV station, some minor background audio hum) Disc 16: Patti D'Arbanville, Peter DeLuise and Levert (Casanova and Just Coolin' - w/Heavy D) Cameo appearance from five-year-old Ginger Orsi (of TV sitcoms "Duet" and "Open House") (4/14/89, 60 minutes with commercials- has some minor background audio buzz) Disc 17: Stacy Keach, Animotion (Room To Move and interview with lead singer Cynthia Rhodes) and Soul Train Creator and host Don Cornelius (1989, 60 minutes with original commercials, has some minor audio fluctuation throughout the show) |
