Still after all these years, too! I’m another old timer. I keep coming back because, why not? Especially in these days of DNA solving cold cases. Eventually there will be something new to share and/or discover on here. |

reddit is painful to read on multiple levels. From the layout to the people.
MOST of the time, around here, we can disagree and argue and still maintain respect for others opinions. I rely on the fact that most people here are friggin' Rain Man like when it comes to cases that were aired on UM.. There's been multiple times I've posted about "oh, that case with the guy who.." and it's immediately answered with the name of the person. And.. I used to work for the competitor of the forum software this place runs on.. This is vBulletin, I worked for Invision. So.. I know exactly how everything works here. lol. |

Even though the site is called Sitcoms Online, this is our most popular individual TV show board with almost 170,000 posts. It's nice to see we still have many regulars and new members talking about the segments.
Thanks to everyone who has visited and posted since the board was launched in July 2001. We're coming up on our 25th anniversary. Time sure flies. We have been running vBulletin since December 2001. It's still the best forum software ever made for desktop/widescreen. |

When I joined nearly 17 years (!) ago, I never imagined I would still be posting nearly two decades later. Why I stayed:
1) This is the only place I can talk about UM with people who are also big fans! Outside of family, I know very few people who watched the show in its heyday in real life, and this is a great community of posters. 2) This place is a treasure trove of additional information and updates about cases 3) Most discussions are great. Either we have great banter ("What is taking so long?" has to be one of my favorite threads ever! This is when Amazon was taking forever to upload season 5) or we have long threads in which the cases are discussed down to minute details and we bounce theories off of each other. As a UM nerd, I just love it. I think this show holds a special place in so many of our hearts, and I really love to come in here and see that still kept alive 23+ years after UM aired its final original episode. |

170,000 posts for UM? If that isn't a testament to the power of this show and the fans, I don't know what is. |

I love this site. I’ve read it for over a decade, rarely post (recently officially joined) because I don’t have much to add!

Next month, it will mark 26 years since I created my account (April 1, 2000).
Although, I didn’t realize there was an Unsolved Mysteries board here until 2002. And I’ve been posting ever since. I love the other longtime posters here and the continued discussions over the cases we have all obsessed about forever. There are so many cases I saw as an elementary school kid that never left me and I still research them online. And one of the best things was celebrating together here when longtime cold cases were FINALLY solved after decades. Cases like the Baskin kids, Wendy Camp, Tanya Vanculenberg/Jay Gibbons, Bobbie Oberholtzer and Annette Schnee, Lisa Ziegert, just to name a few. Many of those cases I had given up hope of ever being solved. So you can imagine my shock when I log on here and see a post with our favorite words; Update, solved, reunited and captured. |

The real people featured and interviewed on this show stuck with me since I was a kid and I can't help getting emotionally involved in what became of them.
Mainly it's because any time I have tried to discuss the cases with my friends and family, I have only been met with blank stares. This is the only place I have come across people who know even more about these cases than I do. |

It's one of the few remnants of the "old internet" still functioning with an active community.

I'm still a huge fan of Unsolved Mysteries. It's so nice to have a site where other people feel the same way. As mentioned before, the shared knowledge is incredible and this is just a great group of people.

I'm a longtime lurker and first time poster. Of course I am a huge fan of Unsolved Mysteries and enjoy researching the cases. I remember when I was a kid and forums like this were in their heyday. It's great to see this one is still going strong after all these years. Both message boards and Unsolved Mysteries are so nostalgic to me. It's a perfect blend.
