Yeah maybe the younger me wouldnt check it as often. lol

But to the viewing public as this time of the series, max is looking so sad as a man. It probably changes but if u are watching in 1980 its so easy to think that he is a crappy husband

I forgot to mention that a statement schneider made in the retrospective episode about him having a mid-life crisis made me think of myself

He said that sometimes he says to himself.........."wow I cant believe the marx brothers are gone, three stooges are gone, all the little rascals are over 50"

Sometimes I say to myself........whole cast of L&S is gone, most of the Jeffersons cast is gone, Good times cast is gone.

I was able to relate. Just confirms Im getting old.

But by 1980 with women's lib. marriages were more like a joint / team type thing. So both of them were reckless with the money. As opposed to the old days where the men handled all the financial things in the marriage.

Another thing he was in, since you bought it up recently, was that Valerie movie, Young Love, First Love.

Was Connors crisis really cut or was Barbara not in that episode? I think Barbara was cut out of the episode by Antenna!

Endless Elliot looks like Weird Al Yancovich !

And that teacher named Richard, Schneider was calling him Dick ! I was cracking up , almost fell off the couch when Schneider first met him and said " So.....Dick " !

Antenna has always cut her out of that one. It’s a scene at the apartment around the middle of it where while Ann and Schneider are talking about Connors, Barbara is on the couch in pajamas having mouth problems.
