I used to live in Northern NJ. Our area had what ended up being the FIRST Sportschannel station (It is now called MSG Sportsnet). Starting in the late 80s or early 90s, Sportschannel America was available in our area. I have proof of it. The first image is my channel lineup from 1986. My cable system is the future Altice USA of Northern NJ. The next is from the channel grid from an issue of my newspaper tv guide from The Record Newspaper from 1992. The reason why I am asking this is because I read that Sportschannel America was only available in areas WITHOUT an affiliate? What do you think gives? My cable system in the channel grid is UAC NJ
