Probably extremely rare to see. But this is one of the few sitcoms that I love, that has zero outtakes or even behind the scenes footage. The closest BTS is when they did the Live episode in season 4. But I need to see Nell just absolutely lose it over a flubbed line or someone else flubbing a line! It’s hysterical when the actors break and can’t help but scream laugh. Even Family Matters has a couple bloopers floating around. On Shawn Harrison’s instagram, he posted 2 outtakes. He must have the other tapes. But that was so awesome. Not sure if James Avery crashing the set counts as a blooper but Reginald immediately breaks and loses it so that’s a fun one. You can see in a couple of GAB episodes, when Nell makes a funny “ooops” face when she squeaks the chair by accident, and when the Chief accidentally bumps the wall of the set when he has the flaming bag of garbage.
I also wonder if the other live airings exist anywhere. Which one was put on the DVD? East, central or west? |

The live show we saw on the East Coast is used for the dvd and syndication/reruns. I've never seen a trace of the other live performance(s)-- I thought it was only done twice?
Would have loved to see the full curtain call or some backstage/pre-air stuff if it existed in the archives. Doesn't seem likely. Going off memory, I think Nell bumped her hand in the episode with (her mom?) tossing a pillow out the door. |

The live show intro ("Shut up about it!) that didn't make it to dvd (or reruns, of course!): The ending of the live show as originally broadcast: |

Dolph Sweet looks frail in the closing scene. This was the last show he ever participated in on the series.
