I’m simply making a comment on how karmatic that clip is, no politics whatsoever. You’re making it into a political thing. You must admit the clip is a bit foretelling…….

Look, this is the deal, Reiner was born into money but adopted this faux hippie persona (like Jane and Peter Fonda). He prob went to Beverly Hills high school and never had to do a thing in his life - and that’s how he raised Nick. As I said, a nanny for Nick said he was out of control even as a toddler but the Reiner’s indulged him. Nick never had to work a day in his life, was spoiled and coddled, et al - until it became too late.

And, yes, Reiner’s politics do come into play because he declared that any violent criminals always had a horrific childhood…..so I guess that means Nick did, right? Reiner was also passionate about no death penalty and said killers can be redeemed - well, let Nick out then - its society’s fault, remember? People are saying prayers for Reiner…..but he was an Atheist.

Do you the sheer hilarity in hypocrisy here?

This man mentally had to have someone to rage against at all times (Nixon, Reagan, Trump) - and I am sure all of that hatred contaminated Nick. Reiner was absolutely addicted to hate.

You can all feel free to mourn a man who wasn’t anything you thought he was because untold other message boards are calling out Reiner exactly as he was.

Good luck.

This is just a blatant disregard for the rules of the forums and the warnings I gave. You say you aren't making it about politics and then proceed to go on about politics. You have completely derailed a mourning thread for one of the most beloved classic TV actors/movie directors of all-time.

Enjoy the indefinite suspension. Good luck.

I do wish CJMD03 well in his treatment for RDS. Maybe he’ll come back a better person.

I was just thinking, California really got hit hard this year. Started out with those massive brush fires in January and ended with the brutal murder of a man and his wife who was very beloved out here.

One bright light was Jackie and Shadow, the bald Eagle couple in Big Bear lake and the birth of their baby eagles. That really brought us alot of joy.

Mike isn’t real, my guy. Rob and Michelle Reiner were, though, which is why the screen behind the actors paying tribute said “Rob Reiner” and “Michelle Singer Reiner,” not “Mike Stivic.”
