I don't think she planned to have him over to seduce him.

When he didn't respond well to the first kiss, she surely should not have kissed him again. But I think he overreacted and acted like a wimp. Ann really did end up looking a fool!

The Shorty thing was something that was came for Max to call Ann, that she didn't mind . She didn't like him calling her Mother Romano !. Ahh, I hope you get to like Max ! I think you will like him going up against Schneider in an upcoming season 5 ep. " Male jealousy".
How old was craig supposed to be? He didnt look young to me. lol

That was inappropriate. Craig shouldn't have been massaging her neck. He is an office assistant not a nurse/ caregiver .

I forgot to mention Schneider was singing one of my songs in ep Small Wonder when he walked in singing "The Very Thought of You"

I like Natalie Cole version and Tony Bennettt

well I was so confused watching the episode Larceny tonight because i had no clue what the hell football cards was until Schneider mentioned at the end of the episode it was football betting cards for betting on the game. Well call them football slips in 2026 lol And its funny now that betting on football is legal in almost every state lol And the guy who was in jail with Schneider was MAX from Threes Company lol

The second episode hit home a little because I had a mild heart attack in 2018 and was in my apt with chest discomfort. And had to end up getting a cardiologist. So since then I had to change the way I eat and havent had no issues since.

I noticed the cardiologist in this ep was Archie Bunker's boo thang in Archie Bunkers place lol And why the hell did Max asked her will ann still be able to have sex? Max continues to be a weirdo. I wonder if that will change eventually???

I wanted to ask does this ep follow the next and Ann is coming home from hospital? Or is she seen in the next episode like nothing never happened??

I know. Not this time, but when Antenna was running One day at a time a few years ago , I thought the same thing. I didn't realize betting on football games was this big of a deal , and this would put a person in jail?

It was cute how naive Barbara was about it. I would have been too.

Something that was strange in that episode , when Schneider was dancing with the umbrella singing Raindrops keep falling on my head . They showed the dining room, and the kitchen was closed off . Meaning like on All in the family and Mary Tyler Moore show , the kitchen could be closed off or opened, Not sure how to explain it ? If I'm making sense? But I never saw this on One day at a time before.

Ann's heart attack episode, even though Max was in it , I like that. But all in all , not a favorite of mine. Kind of sad and depressing. Barbara's hair looked cute in this episode though. Back in barrettes and the bangs were cute.

I think the camera man didnt pan all the way over to the right which is why you didnt see the kitchen and why it looked closed off

Yes gambling wasnt considered legal back then it was all underground. Thats why Brent Musberger the host of NFL today had to speak in hidden codes when giving out betting information on the games. So when the show came on and it showed a live shot of the stadium and the sun was out, bettors new it was ok to take the over on pts since it wasnt raining. His famous phrase was............."You are looking Live" letting bettors know this is the weather condition as of right now

I made on bet in highschook my step dad knew a BOOKIE who could get me a betting slip but it was all illegal. Now you see commercials with DRAFTKINGS lol

Yes barbara was extra cute in this episode. Yes it was kind of depressing to see Ann all laid up in the hospital like that. This is definitely not a fall back show like Three;s company and the Jeffersons lol

Whoa! Glad you are OK, and got your heart condition under control. Heart problems run in my family and I already have high blood pressure, under control but Drs.are always warning me of heart attack and stroke risks.

Yeah, I thought that was who the Dr. was. Archie's girlfriend. Pretty lady.

And yeah, I admit the sex comment by Max was weird, but that was how the writers had it written for him . He becomes generally more likeable as time goes on.

Yeah, football betting cards were the DraftKings of the pre internet age. My father used to buy them (not sell them)

Jimmy the Greek on CBS was also big on talking about gambling without actually talking about gambling.

The writers were making the Max character unlikable from the stuff that came out his mouthlol
