It pretty much showed Max as being a total jerk and Fred being totally stupid. But Max ends up a good guy and a good addition to the cast. And I ended up developing a major crush on him watching ODAAT back when Antenna showed this the first time.

Love me some Michael Lembeck/ Max . His Sister is Helaine Lembeck, Judy from Welcome back Kotter.
Oh wow he is? I had a RETRO CRUSH judy since I was on 2 when WBK aired lol

Im going to be honest I am never going to like the Max character. And its because how he ended up on the show. By being a slimball and having feelings for his friend soon to be wife. And when I saw him in the opening credits tonight I wanted to throw up lol So yes Max is never going to be a character that I will accept since he was so awful to his friend

Then in tonight's episode he walking in the bathroom without knocking and see the door shut. So when Julie is missing for a while he is max off the show?

This show has made think of my own mother. Everything that Ann's mother said to her is what my mom says to me

You never call me And I guess since she is older now that is how she talks because 25 years ago I would go 4 weeks without talking to her and she wouldnt say a word. And when grandmom romano told barbara u will make a great mother because u have the talent to make people feel guilty

And I bet if texting existed back then Ann mother would be texting her all the time like my mom does me

Believe me Max does get nicer. It was pretty messed up how he was introduced in the show as stealing his best friends girl. But the whole thing was far fetched how it all happened that Julie and Fred would have been that much in love to have to get into a such a quick marriage!

And Michael Lembeck in real life is s really good guy. Very good at comedic acting . He and John Ritter / Jack were friends in real life and after all he is Judy's Brother!

I think he is so cute! Besides Max, I've seen him in many other roles. Very much a major crush of mine for a while now!

Yes. I can relate with older relatives and even old friends with this.

I'm sure he'd have rather seen Barbara, or Julie when she was healthier looking in the earlier seasons in a pink towel.

Don’t worry. At one point Max says once a year Fred sends him a thank you card. So Fred’s happy with the way things ended up.
