In all honesty I think ABC is trying to aim itself at the senior citizen crowd of 55 and older because they are slowly moving away from the young generation by adding more drama shows and crime shows rather than sitcoms because seniors seem to like crime shows and drama shows and the only thing that makes ABC more appealing to the young generation is their summer block of reality and game shows. But ABC needs another soap opera for the daytime block the same way CBS did with Beyond The Gates because it is surprising that General Hospital is still the lone survivor of ABC soap operas
