Production No. 16176 - "Beaver the Caddy"

Beaver and Gilbert are caddies for Mr. Langley and Mr. Howard. Beaver is keeping score and eventually finds out Langley is shaving his score. He feels he's cheating too, and Wards tells the family Langley and Howard had a $500 bet.

Beaver goes to Langley's office and confronts him about the cheating, and the laugh track disappears for this serious scene. Langley promises Beaver he will set things right, if Beaver will caddy for him again.

Production No. 16177 - "Lumpy's Scholarship"

Wally recovers from the disappointment of not getting a scholarship at State, and finds out Lumpy got one. Wally hosts a party for him, but bad news comes to Lumpy when his father, Fred, calls and tells him he flunked math and won't get the scholarship.

Ward plays good Samaritan and calls his friend at State, who contacts Fred with the news that Clarence can still get the scholarship if he takes math in summer school.

Production No. 16178 - "The Silent Treatment"

Eddie invites Beaver to help him and Wally install an FM radio in Eddie's car. Beaver is thrilled to hang out with them, but June insists he go to the market for her.

Beaver pays June back by being curt with her and playing up to Ward. The treatment causes June to be concerned, but Ward is slow to catch on to it.

A bee stings Beaver, which breaks his plan--she treats the sting and he admits he was treating her badly.

A lot of people dislike this episode, due to what they call Beaver's out-of-character behavior.

Production No. 16179 - "Eddie's Sweater"

Wally is spending a lot of time at Cindy Andrews' house, and after Wally leaves, Beaver reveals to his parents that Cindy is Eddie's girl. But Wally keeps it quiet, since he is helping Cindy by modeling a sweater she is knitting for Eddie's birthday gift.

Complicating Wally's situation, Lumpy tells Eddie that Wally is seeing Cindy--they spy on Cindy's house and see Wally leaving. At school, Eddie confronts Wally and takes a poke at him.

Cindy straightens out the situation with Eddie, who then apologizes to Wally.

This is the episode where Clarence does the "zooma, zooma" bit on the steering wheel while he is waiting in the car for Eddie.
