Default Season 4 Discussion

Season 4 starts Monday. I was looking at episode guide and remembered I used to have the Original CBS episode called Broken Nose with all commercials in 2004

My prediction based on title I think these eps will be my top 5

Dating game
Broken Nose
Schneider gets fired
The Graduation
Bob's new girl

I know for a fact the first 2 eps of season 4 will be part of my bottom 5 or close to it. And why would Ann still be getting child support for julie when she was over 18??? Shouldnt have only been Barbara since she was still in school? And I was expecting to hear the reason that he couldnt pay anymore was because he bought a pool and hired a maid. I was thought it would be because he lost his job. And I didnt like part 2 because the scene with Ed walking around drunk went on too long. Never found drunk sitcom characters to be funny at all.

No. Probably her own hair. Hair tended to be weird than/ in that decade. Either looked really good or really bad, seemed like there was nothing in between . These two eps. Julie's hair wasn't looking at it's best.

All in all funny episodes but also kind of sad because of the child support thing. ! Ed really acted like an a** ! A funny line was in the first episode when it was just Ed and Schneider and the phone rang . Schneider answered and it was Ed's lawyer , Ed said " That is the building Snooper " ( Super) . I thought that was funny. Why was Ed's lawyer calling over at Ann's though?

And I mean come on . A teenaged type date , a 45 minute wait where they couldn't have cocktails / alcoholic drinks while they waited for the table. At their age wouldn't they have just gone to another restaurant? And Indianapolis is a pretty big city, the chance the girls and their drunk Dad would end up at the same place !

And Ed's goofy suit and those boots that he lost one of!

The lady Joyce in Ann's Friends was a weirdo She reminded me of that goofy girl that Ted on Mary Tyler Moore was in a relationship. And the guy who played Fred appeared in a Jeffersons episode in the 80's as a KKK member and used the N word lol

Do we Joyce again?

I knew I would enjoy Bob's new girl tonight. It just had so many funny moments. Bob is funny as shet. The way he smiled at Ann and Julie when he was trying to be smooth It seems like Barbara was giving him a chance in the hallway when he said........."im a better match for you than Cliff and she said how? That was his opportunity right there

Then he met the southern girl who was very pretty with a annoying assss voice

This episode made 4 references to things happening in 1978

The Hit movie Grease

Boxer Leon Spinks

TV show donny and Marie

Alice........Kiss my grits

I would be stunned if any remaining ep of this season tops Bob's new girl.

She never had a hit show of her own but if someone watched a lot of ‘70s and ‘80s TV she was all over the place.

No, she never comes back here.

Good thing you saw it. Doesn’t look like it’s on Tubi.
