1. Now, is it just me, or is Robert Stack kinda freaky on this show? He STARES at the camera, and almost never blinks, he talks in PRETTY much the same pitch all the time.
2. Do you agree with me in saying that they should change the MUSIC on this show? Or even better, not have any!? ESPECIALLY the "Update" music. *shivers* 3. Has this show EVER done ANYTHING on the "Jersey Devil"? I know "World's Scariest Places" has, and I became very interested in this legend. Anyone on this board live in New Jersey/Near Pine Barrens? 4. Lastly, uh.. I forgot, maybe I'll remember later

I know, but think about "Lifetime, television for Women"? It's MOSTLY (not all, mostly) housewives watching it, I mean come on! A housewife sittin' there watchin' the show by herself. *shivers again* 'Course, maybe it's on more than one station, and there's also the one that comes on at NIGHT, so, I dunno..

Replying to a 24 year old thread. This might break the internet.
The OP sounds like they were a child when they wrote this. There's a chance they may now be a grandparent. |

![]() I knew I was getting old when I realized the babies and toddlers from the daycare located near my workplace (mid 2000s) are now all adults, some with kids of their own. Either way I think it's great I can still find fellow UM fans all these years later and the show is (technically) still on the air! |

There's actually several from 2001-2002 still waiting on someone to reply if you click the 'Last' button to get to the oldest threads. You might make someone's day

I think it was more along the lines that he died in 2003 that he left the show. Even in the later years there is a faint crack in his voice in the later seasons. He just simply sounds a bit older in the late 1990s/early 2000s shows than the earlier ones. Which makes sense, he was 84.
