Women and men seemed to look older back than. The hair and the clothing styles really aged them.

I totally forgot this episode from before. I forget what the woman looked like. But it always was kind of insinuated in the show that Ed's new wife was hot, but she really was not! LOL!

Nothing beats Barbara pouring the boxes of jello into Aunt Clara’s tub and gelling her to death.

Yes! And Barbara and Julie have something in common with Samantha. Both have an Aunt Clara. No wondervwhy she didn't notice the jello and gelled if she was a dingbat like Aunt Clara from Bewitched.

just watched the 2 parter and have one question? What was up with Barbara's hair in these eps? It was the first time it looked crazy. She had a hair piece attached to the top of her head lol

my other question........we dont see melanie again do we?

Her mother was just as wacky as her.

I had to see what other acting roles she was in because she played that wacko role too good She was almost 30 at the time playing a teenager. All the other shows she appeared on I dont watch

Waltons
Eight is Enough
Hill Street Blues
The A-team

Her last acting role was 1985-The Fall Guy

Nope, that’s it for Melanie.

Bonnie can probably explain the hair thing better than me.

Was Aunt Clara the one played by Miss Loring? Or am I getting my Bewitched aunts mixed up?

I've seen Barbara wear that a couple times before. It is not a hair piece but a very
little headband. IDK? I mean I remember girls wearing them back than but not much, they weren't that popular ,I never wore one. It wasn't as trendy as the big headbands that were in style in the early to mid 60's and made a comeback in the 80's.

No . Boring Miss Loring was Esmerelda , she was an added on recurring character in later seasons. A bumbling housekeeper. Aunt Clara was an elderly Aunt that stuttered and screwed up her spells . I think nowadays they would say Aunt Clara had dementia, even though she was a witch.

I knew it was a headband thing. I just didn’t know if it had a specific name.

Yeah. She did look older than a teenager. I will look out for her on the Waltons, cause I watch that show.

Those episodes were pretty emotional. Sad, cause it really showed how her parents swept the family problems under the carpet. The Mom had mental issues too like Melanie. But cool that the Dad finally got it and listened to that doctor.

Cliff was comic relief, made the ep.funny though, thinking Melanie was a turtle. And Schneider getting his pants fixed by Julie with him there in his underwear was funny. Julie got in a few good funny lines too.
