Beaver is doing poorly in English, and Wally tries to help. Gilbert, also struggling, joins the session, and Wally eventually produces one of his old tests for them to study.
Next day, the teachers gives them a surprise test--and the boys' second surprise is that it's the same test. Both get near-perfect grades and Beaver thinks he cheated. Beaver seeks Ward's advice, who posits that it is more misrepresentation than cheating. Ward advises Beaver to come clean with the teacher, who agrees with Ward. Opinions on the episode? |

A good episode with a subtle ethical dilemma, well handled by the adults. I always like seeing actor Wendell Holmes in his roles in the series - he was also Andy the Handyman as well as Beaver's teacher in "Beaver's Hero."
