I rank the episodes first and foremost by how much Barbara is in them, and she isn't in Singles Bar that much, so it's going to end up low for me.

(If you got nothing else to do, you can find my list here https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards...&postcount=216

If I remember right Bonnie likes that one more then me.

Singles Bar and Julie's Operation are my favorites of season 2 so far. I enjoyed singles bar, it was a nice switch up with Ann and Schneider away from the kids and out of the house . And schneider trying to make moves on the ladies and ended up approaching a transgender The two ladies at the end going home with men who they really didnt want because they was horny and lonely. lol

And Poor Barb ended up with no date for the dance because she couldnt pick just one guy lol And why the hell did bobby goofy ass want to go to the dance if he couldnt dance? lol

Yeah, singles bar was something different. Normally I prefer when the story is about the girls more. But this was OK, being it showed alot of characters, not just the regulars, so a change of pace.

The bar seemed boring though. No music or no sports on a TV. Nothing! And not even like a dive bar with a pool table, pool is fun after a couple of drinks. Just people sitting
around hoping to hook up. Those ladies really were desperate, it was sad! I thought the heavy set lady was actually the prettiest of the ladies there. Pretty face and hair, Schneider didn't want her yet he found Ginny attractive ! That actress went on to play the maid in Two and a half men.

That was funny when that guys toupee was falling off!

Cliff sure was good looking, but conceited. And if I were Barbara it would have bugged me, him calling her " kid" .

Julie looked really pretty in her green dress. It's a shame we never got to see her date.

Yeah pretty awkward to go to a school dance if you can't dance at all. Cause that's all there us to do. It's not like a nightclub, where there would be drinks and food if you didn't want to dance.

That was a really good episode, one of the best if season 2 IMO.

Now the Singles bar should have had music , at least if people were dancing together it would give them a better chance getting to know each other . Not just going up to each other making lame conversation.

This is really being picky , but how far is Logansport from Indy ? We're the girls going to take a cab all the way there? Or was the cab just to take them to the greyhound bus station? And why couldn't Ann or Schneider drive them to the bus terminal?

Yeah, she was going to that same school dance and already had a date for the dance planned in advance.

And the girl Cliff got at the last minute while on the phone in the apt. after Barbara broke the date. And he tells her to be ready in 10 minutes, so the girl was really sitting around hoping Cliff would ask her after all, it was desperate female night on that show today !

Tonight at 8:30 is the 2nd best episode of the series behind only Jay Leno's appearance. Valerie and Mackenzie have great chemistry in the season 2 finale, with no trace of irritating Schneider.

Is that Where's Mother or Girls alone? The one where Ann is on a business trip , and the girls worry cause Ann doesn't call when she arives and there seems to be no sign she even checked into the hotel? I think that was the scenario.

I also think this is one of Opus's favorites.
