It seems to me that Jeopardy! and Family Feud* are the only game shows currently in production, that has the winner coming back the next program.
Am I correct on this? It’s hard to enjoy any game show today, when there are no contestants to “root for” anymore. People who are better at a game than others aren’t given an incentive, it seems. No more bonuses for 5 games in a row won, with the exception below. It’s probably because when in reruns, any ol’ episode can be shoved in. Continuity, bah! See GSN & GSC. [*and of course with Fuss Budget Feud, Fast Money is made harder for returning families after winning the $20 K the first time. When was the last time a family won Fast Money more than twice? Ever? I don’t watch anyway because of that loudmouth host. They don’t even mention the name of the car for the undefeated!] cd |

25 Words or Less has returning winners. Person, Place, or Thing which aired the last two seasons also had returning winners. They had several with long runs. Zach won over 20 days, and Ardena won 30 days. Pete and Ashton had runs somewhere in the teens.

^ Very well, I sit corrected!
I think in Miami, “25” is on at some awful time—and I don’t see “PPoT” listed anywhere here. Very good. cd |

Tonight is the final airing of Person, Place, or Thing on my affiliate. It was sadly cancelled after just two seasons.
New syndicated game shows premiering Monday are The Perfect Line and Scrambled Up. to be seen if they have returning champions or not |

A change both CW shows made with their season premieres: Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit now have returning champions.
