Tonight ep Julie Operation I see deals with Ann questioning the youth of the doctor. Thats how I feel now about when I go to the doctor. Seems like they getting younger and younger

Since we are talking about Ginny, does anyone remember her on Maude. The episode was Maude’s Big Move, Part One, also called The Chinese Dinner if that helps. It was the last episodes of the series.

Yup. Unfortunately they’re not getting younger, we’re getting older.

I put that episode in the “good” pile. The other one tonight I put in the “really bad” pile.

Ginny also played the Grandmother on the original Pet Semetary movie.

I didn't even think about it being her until I saw "Mary Louise Wilson" in the closing credits.

Julie's Operation was the best of season 2 so far. I could see why Ann had a issue with the young DR. He wasnt serious instead he was young and goofy But my question is they didnt have ER's in the 70's?? Why was Ann trying to find a doctor for julie so late at night instead of going to hospital??

I wasnt expecting the episode to end before Julie had the surgery. I mean that defeated the purpose of the whole episode. Ann was hesitant because the dr was young and then he operates and proves her wrong. Im surprised that was seen at all. Great episode............AWFUL ENDING

Ginny's child yes that was bad. Glad I ate my tacos when I watched Julie's operation. So if Ginny had custody of the 10 year old this would have been another Willona and Penny. Single friend with a child. I guess the episode would have been a little better if we actually saw the child

Yes I will never watched this episode again unless its on youtube and its the CBS version with commercials

I thought the exact same thing. Julie should have been taken to the ER. I don't know how it worked back than either. I was a teenager , but nobody in my family ever had a medical emergency like that!

And it didn't seem like a financial issue, like having no medical insurance and being afraid the hospital would turn them away if they couldn't pay. It seemed like Ann had medical insurance, so yeah weird they didn't just get Julie to the hospital.

But it was a good episode. Besides how Julie's surgery turned out, it would have been cool to see that young Dr.down the line in another episode, see how he was doing in his medical career.

I though it was better this time around than when I saw it before. I thought it was better than The new car from yesterday.

Yeah it was nothing that a doctor could do at the house so she obviously had to go to the damm hospital lol

I did like the way he trolled Ann at the end

"Does your daughter have a thing for me?

Ann: yes

Dr......"well I dont know what to do I havent reached that chapter yet

No I rather see Ed than hearing about why Ginny was upset
