Did Ed and Eunice make off-screen visits in the syndicated years to see Bubba?

I just wonder had Bubba not physically seen his parents IN PERSON since before he went to Juvenile, which would have probably been sometime between the NBC and the syndicated episode. In Pomp and Circumstance Bubba says it's been forever since he's seen his mom and dad, he wonders if they've changed any, but THEN he tells Mama, "I wish ONCE they could visit without you getting mom all upset!" Implying they made off-screen visits.

I remember in Direct to Video, Mama says something like "When all the family comes in for Christmas"

I wanna think it I Do I Don't that perhaps Ed and Eunice were BRIEFLY at the wedding since Vint mentions "the ENTIRE Harper clan", but they could only stay a few minutes. Bubba would have gotten to briefly see them, but no real conversation or catching up
