DVD Wish: Laugh Track option - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On the M*A*S*H DVDs, there's an option to watch the episodes without the laugh track.

Since the first two seasons of HD were done the same way as M*A*S*H, filmed with one camera like a movie with no studio audience, it would be cool if the HD Season One and Two DVDs had the same option.

But I won't hold my breath on that one.

Once the show was filmed live, it wasn't the same. I found it really annoying when a character entered a scene to deliver a line and had to wait half a minute for the applause and screaming to die down.

the problem with that would be if they somehow magically took out the laugh track after the second season, everytime a character came on screen, they'd stand there with that stupid sheepish grin on their face for no reason for a few seconds

I dont like Video CDs but I think its awesome you can remove the noise if you dont want it!
