Default Which game shows got a proper farewell episode?

A “thanks to all of you for watching” as opposed to a “join us next time on _____” and then there never was a next time.

I think the original What’s My Line had one.

Yes, the original CBS What’s My Line hosted by John Daly had one, as well as:

the CBS Card Sharks hosted by Bob Eubanks
The original NBC Match Game hosted by Gene Rayburn (the later CBS version didn’t get a farewell episode, however)
The original ABC Family Feud hosted by Richard Dawson
The original NBC Concentration, by that time hosted by Bob Clayton
Both versions of Jeopardy hosted by Art Fleming (the long-running first version, and the short-lived first revival)
NBC Celebrity Sweepstakes hosted by Jim McKrell
ABC Split Second hosted by Tom Kennedy (in which Markie Post appeared briefly)
ABC The Big Showdown hosted by Jim Peck
ABC Rhyme And Reason hosted by Bob Eubanks (in which the show’s set was destroyed)
NBC Jackpot! Hosted by Geoff Edwards
ABC Second Chance hosted by Jim Peck (this show, with a few rule changes, was turned into Press Your Luck)

The NBC Match Game episode doesn’t seem to be available anywhere, but most of the rest of these are probably available on Youtube, although the Big Showdown, Rhyme And Reason, Jackpot!, and Second Chance episodes on YouTube are audio only (no video/picture).

I may think of a few more later on.

Sometimes a host got a goodbye episode, like Bob Barker or Pat Sajak, even though the show itself was going on.

NBC High Rollers hosted by Alex Trebek- the second version that ended in 1980 got a farewell episode, but of course Alex did not get a complete farewell episode as host of Jeopardy (unless you count the short tributes that were tacked on to the beginning and end of his last episode).

NBC Hollywood Squares hosted by Peter Marshall and NBC Three On A Match hosted ny Bill Cullen also got farewell episides (the 3OAM finale episode featured hilarious closing credits in which every job on the show was credited to Bill Cullen except for the final one ("Your host... Bob Stewart")

All three shows mentioned in this post are on Youtube; however, the 3OAM Episode on Youtube is audio only.

There was also the last CBS episode of The Joker's Wild in 1975 when Jack Barry gave a classy farewell.

I think that both The Match Game with host Gene Rayburn and Super Password with host Bert Convy had final, farewell episodes.

All four daytime versions of Password (which ended in 1967, 1975, 1982, and 1989, respectively) had a farewell episode, and all of these are on YouTube; the Password All-Stars also got a farewell episode, which is on YouTube. As stated before, the NBC Match Game had a farewell episode, but the CBS Match Game (also on Youtube) did not get a farewell episode (and Gene Rayburn tells viewers to “join us next time”- apparently the show was recorded before the series was cancelled).

The show opened with Johnny Olson announcing: "And now, live from New York, for the 876th and final time, let's meet our What's My Line? panel."

Previous guests returned, including the first one from 1950, and a few clips were played. Longtime panelists who died during the 17 year run, Fred Allen and Dorothy Kilgallen, were remembered. Finally, the mystery guest was John Daly himself. He had always been held in reserve for that purpose, in the event a celebrity didn't show.
