Why was singer Jeffrey Osborne chosen to perform the Loving theme song in 1993?
I never knew Jeffrey Osborne did perform the theme song to Loving in 1993 and I wondered how he was chosen to perform the theme song? Was it because after what they saw with Peabo Bryson performing the theme song to One Life To Live that ABC knew R&B singers worked good for soap opera theme songs. They should've kept Johnny Mathis singing the Loving theme song because he was good. Was this new theme song of Loving meant to give it a new image?
