Vintage 1988 "thirtysomething" Ad from Variety
From the July 8, 1988, edition of Daily Variety
Peter Horton has spent most of his time in recent decades behind the camera as a director and producer of such series as ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and NBC’s “New Amsterdam”. But in the late 1980s, Horton was part of an ensemble series that tapped in to the Baby Boomer zeitgeist as the Reagan era came to a close. “thirtysomething” captured the growing pains of a new adult life stage, thanks to the skill of creators and executive producers Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick. https://variety.com/gallery/tv-ads-r...rtysom070888d/ |
