Aired after Mash on Tuesdays and fell slightly below the top 10 behind Mary Tyler moore. The first 3 broadcast it finished in the top ten so it wasnt just a premiere thing.

We’re in in mid December 1975 here and it looks like he had Christmas specials as late as 1986.

Definitely a positive review although he didn’t mention Valerie.

Probably because she was a stand out character on the show
