The show centered on Shelby Woo a girl who worked with her grandfather who was a former detective who assisted Shelby on many different cases when needed while helping her grandfather run his bed-and breakfast inn. Call Shelby Woo a junior female version of Sherlock Holmes but Shelby was smart and solved every case she could. Playing Shelby Woo was actress Irene Ng who was a smart choice to play Shelby Woo with greatness. Although a promising hit Nickelodeon cancelled The Mystery Files Of Shelby Woo after one season and a book series was also made of the show as well
