The Tragedies of Jan and Bobby Brady
I'm thinking of writing a book focusing on Jan and Bobby and how they have this unspoken secret alliance in the peppy upbeat Brady Family as the 2 outcasts who are often misunderstood. I always saw these 2 kids as having a TON in common, Jan felt like she had no talent, in Marcia's shadow, Bobby felt he could never win, often overshadowed by the peppy upbeat Peter in everything, thought he was doomed to be "child-sized" the rest of his life. etc...
I always thought it was too bad those 2 were never paired together like Peter and Cindy were, and some of the others, ALTHOUGH they would typically sit together, and lowkey defend each other, i.e. Jan defending Bobby about Cindy's doll, etc... I've done several writings taking background characters or whisperings of storylines and building a while arch and I think this could work! |
