If we can spend time on The Cop and the Kid; how about Back to You? It ran NEARLY a full season! It had to endure a writer's strike. It was an early credit for Josh Gad. It was also that for Ty Burrell.

It was something new for Patty Heaton after Raymond ended.

It had a Polish joke that was aired only once and was even censored on the DVD set.

One other note: It hasn't been moved down to the graveyard. It still has its own, unique board!

This was one our most active current (at the time) sitcom boards with over 4,700 posts. It had a big following on here. There was a campaign to save it. I didn't even move it to the one season wonders section.

It had a great cast. Fred Willard was always hilarious. I think it would have had more success on CBS.

Yes, it was not suited to Fox--it might have had several seasons on CBS (then The Middle would have either not happened, or would have had a different female lead). The late Fred Willard was involved in the Polish joke (what were they thinking?)
