I did a thread similar to this once before. This is popularity by the number of posts. I suspect many of the high numbers on some sitcoms are from older posts; in fact, I checked the numbers on That's So Raven, and found that most of the high numbers were from posts 20 years ago and older.

I’ve been gunning for Facts Of Life for awhile now, but it doesn’t feel like gaining any ground. It didn’t help that most of the ODAAT crowd sang “This is it” and took off.

If you include all of the random Happy Days - Chit Chat threads, Happy Days would be #1. The board has 358,164 posts plus any other threads I haven't moved yet.

Unsolved Mysteries is our most popular individual TV show board with 168,283 posts.

Only the order has changed for the top 12 since 2018. That's So Raven has only 60 posts since 2018. Leave it to Beaver has made the biggest jump from #10 to #4.

I'm really surprised that That's So Raven ranks that high. I don't recall seeing many posts for that show.

That board was flooded with posts from a couple of members 20+ years ago, especially in 2004. In the seven years between 2018 to now, there have been only 60 posts, an average of only a little over 8 per year.

The fact that what happened on that board in 2004 is still having an effect 21 years later is pretty telling.

That probably explains me not seeing many posts there. I think I was taking a break from this site in 2004.

The OT NBA Finals thread does NOT belong on the One Day at a Time board, should be moved to the sports forum. It artificially inflates the numbers of that board getting it closer to the much superior Facts of Life (which still needs smileys for Blair and Mrs. Garrett, I would say they are probably a lot more popular among overall sitcom fans than Michael Lembeck).
