Columbus, GA CBS affiliate WRBL still airs The Andy Griffith Show reruns at 5:30 PM (Monday through Friday).

Honestly the only sitcoms we get in local syndication here in Rhode Island are as follows:

CW Providence (WNAC TV, a dual CW/Fox station; although on cable systems carrying it, it takes up to spots, one as Channel 9 for the CW and one as Channel 11 for Fox).

The Big Bang Theory
Last Man Standing
Two and A Half Men
Modern Family
Schitt's Creek
2 Broke Girls
Mom
The King of Queens

WLNE 6 New Bedford/Providence (an ABC Affiliate):
No sitcoms airing, but does air occasional drama series in late night hours on weekends, such as Law & Order: SVU or The Closer.

WJAR 10 Providence (an NBC Affiliate):
No Sitcoms Airing.

WPRI 12 (a CBS Affiliate):
No Sitcoms Airing.

Don’t forget Fox-64 in Providence - it has Seinfeld, Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, and Bob’s Burgers.

The nearest US city to where I live is Buffalo, NY which, in TV like in sports, is always good for nothing, and that's what they have: nothing. They carry game shows, talk shows, judges, but no sitcoms. The top Canadian network is CTV and it tends to follow the same formula which may work for today's demographics but not for me. So if I want to get a retro fix, I have only one place to go, and that is CHCH TV Channel 11 in Hamilton, Ontario, an independent basic network (OTA 11.1) that has a schedule that I would say is a lot better than either Antenna or Me-TV. Their daytime retro schedule runs from 10 am to 6 pm and as of today carries the following series:

10:00 am Matlock
11:00 Green Acres
11:30 Beverly Hillbillies
12:00 pm Fantasy Island
1:00 Mission: Impossible
2:00 Bewitched
2:30 Bewitched
3:00 The Odd Couple
3:30 Family Ties
4:00 One Day At A Time (in its final week! The Flying Nun takes its place next Thursday Dec. 10)
4:30 Get Smart
5:00 Gilligan's Island
5:30 Brady Bunch

Now I dare anyone, even Solomon, to try to name any US station, local or national, that has a better schedule than this. If so, I'll try to stream it myself if I can.

Indianapolis:

Channel 40.1

The Lone Ranger

Bonanza

Highway to Heaven

The Roy Rogers Show

Lassie (later episodes, after the Timmy years)

Sergeant Preston

Channel 4.2 (local)

Andy Griffith Show (all episodes, also sometimes used as filler on 4.1)

(If you count local channels which carry MeTV and Antenna TV, of course you pick up way more.)
(Sal, I doubt any station could match CHCH. Wish they had a cable feed in the US!)

Also, we have a lot of later sitcoms, particularly on 4.2.

Not only does WRBL still air The Andy Griffith Show reruns (though they're at 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM now), but ever since Judge Mathis and The People's Court ended in 2023 (and WRBL has best of rerun packages of both shows at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM), the only current syndicated shows that WRBL has now are Jeopardy! at 7:00 PM, and Wheel of Fortune at 7:30 PM (the rest of the daytime schedule is either CBS daytime shows or local/CBS news).

The Andy Griffith Show is still going strong on my FOX affiliate weekdays from 12:30-1:30PM. They seem to be mostly uncut episodes, except for the final tag scene. I am fine trading that for full closing credits though. Seinfeld airs on my My NetWork TV affiliate weeknights in the 10PM hour when lousy sports doesn't delay it. Weekends they air Seinfeld on ABC late night. Friends just returned to local syndication two years ago. It airs weeknights at 7:30 and 10:00 on the CW. Everything else on my local non-diginets is 21st century shows.

Seeing all these old posts from 2006 reminds me how great syndication used to be.
Now it’s just either extended local news or a bunch of lousy courtroom shows.
