How can I delete and close my account?

Does it delete posts?

It would be sad to see you leave after 22+ years. Maybe you can just take a break.

We generally don't delete accounts. It would delete other member's posts. You can delete your own posts if you want to make the effort.

The best thing to do would be to change your e-mail address in the User CP and turn off any e-mail notifications. Then you can log out. Your account would be essentially closed.

After all of these years of being in this lousy art called fanfiction, I have done stupid fanfics that'd boggle the mind. What did these fanfics bring me? Nothing but PTSD! I have horrible nightmares about them myself! I didn't want to turn Sitcoms Online into a trash pile for rotten fanfiction stories! All I ever did was write for you fans! I didn't mean to post them here! If I mention some of them, I'll have PTSD! I want to get out of here, and never come back! I am too ashamed to delete them! Please, ban me from Sitcoms Online! I don't deserve to be here! Just BAN ME!!!

I went through your post history. I deleted all of your fan fiction related posts. They've been erased from existence. Hopefully it will help with your PTSD. Your post count went from 130 to 35.

There's nothing preventing you from deleting your own posts.

No one wants you to leave. I thought you just wanted your fan fiction related posts deleted.

I'm not deleting any other posts. You're welcome to delete them yourself.

If you are NOT going to delete the remaining 35, then I am NEVER coming back! Let those other idiots respond to my other posts and let them say "James is so stupid, his posts are cockamamie, he's a complete basket case! What an idiot he is!"? I DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN, TODD!!!!
