I had a feeling that Mr. Young was slowing down when he had his website taken down. I'm glad I got his autograph when I could. I enjoyed watching "Mister Ed" when it ran on Nick at Nite. He had such a real affection for "Mister Ed" (Bamboo Harvester) and I imagine they are together again.

I believe the twins that played Adam Stephens and Dr. Bombay (Bernard Fox) are alive too.

You're right, but Dr. Bombay was a recurring character.

I have never seen this show. Seems dumb to me, a talking horse? So the guy has to hang out with the horse a lot since the horse is the star of the show. I thought there was an unwritten rule that an actor should not work with an animal.

The Flintstones I'll give you although I wasn't originally thinking of animated series.

I Love Lucy, (I count Keith Thibodeaux).

Bewitched - Erin & Diane Murphy are still alive so no dice.

The Honeymooners was a 50's series and wouldn't count even if all had passed on.

The total now stands at 3 for 60's sitcoms where the entire credited main cast has died. This is only for series that began their run in the 60's, those that started in the 50's don't count.

Mister Ed
My Favorite Martian
The Flintstones
Thanks for giving me the Flintstones. I know it's animated, but it's still considered a sitcom since it was prime-time.

I'm sorry. I know Honeymooners and I Love Lucy were 50s series, but they're even older than the sitcoms from the 60s like you specified before. And when you said 60s sitcoms, I thought you meant that decade or earlier which seemed like a good point. But I understand if you want to get picky and only count the shows that were exactly and strictly from the 60s and no later or earlier than that decade. Sorry, I was just accounting for TV shows as old as the 50s and 60s.

And as for Bewitched, Tabitha and Adam weren't considered the main characters that are credited in the o/c which I thought how the main cast members are defined. Same story with I Love Lucy as Little Ricky wasn't credited in its o/c either. And you're right about the 3 Stooges not being a sitcom. Just shorts, but my point is that there are no surviving Stooges left now. So that was why I was comparing that to those 3 shows.

And what I was saying before was that there are now many TV shows with not many surviving cast members left. So that was my other point.

I also enjoy listening to old time radio shows on Sirius. When I'm on a break at work, I'll go out to my car and listen to them.

Well I guess young people don't understand a sitcom with a talking horse on it because they feel it shouldn't be a sitcom

Mr.Ed was a wonderful, funny wholesome old show! And Alan Young was great in the part of Wilbur, Mr.Eds sidekick!
