TV When did you FIRST watch "My Three Sons"?

Was it A)On the network run B)On OTHER loical stations C)When it was on The Hallmark Channel D)When Nick at Nite aired it in"the good old days" or E)On TVLand also in the "good old days"?For me,I saw it A) very few black and white ABC episodes but mostly the ones I saw were the color CBS episodes C),and D and E all of the rest of the ABC black and white episodes with Bub,which were great. How about the rest of you?

I was watching it Saturday nights on CBS going back as far as childhood memory permits. I probably didn't get to see many Monday night episodes but I'm very certain I was watching in the summer of 1972 when paired with My World And Welcome to It. It was eerie seeing reruns of those in the late 80s on Nick @ Nite for the first time in over fifteen years, just for the fact of how well I remembered them from such a long time before, being so young at the time. In fact, those N@N eps is about the only other time since it left the network that I ever watched M3S on any kind of regular basis. Outgrew it I suppose.

The show ran until 1972 and I was five in 1970, which is about the time I can first remember things. I used to watch My Three Sons and Bewitched then. Of course, by 1970 M3S was in color so I never saw the B/W version until Nick at Nite ran it in the 1990s. I love the B/W seasons and wish Paramount or Shout! Factory would release season 3 to DVD. I really like William Frawley in the role of BUB.

I remember watching the later episodes with the triplets and twins when they were on first run, but I can't tell you the year or season. However, I really remember the show from reruns on WBBM channel 2 (CBS affiliate) in Chicago during the 1970s. They ran it in the morning during the summer and only ran the color episodes. The only B&W episodes I have seen were seasons 1 & 2 which I watched via Netflix DVDs over the last year.

I think I started watching it around 1962-63.

I was born in 1964 so I essentially grew up with the series during its network run. In 1977,when I was 13,a station in my area was showing the reruns and I immediately became hooked and have been for nearly 35 years. I also saw the show on TBS,Nick At Nite, and TV Land. I watch on You Tube sometimes. I wish all 12 seasons would be released on DVD. I especially love the color episodes since those are the episodes I watched first. It is a shame that gentle and wholesome, yet hilarious humor, along with warmth and family values promoted on "My Three Sons" are not on most shows today.

I started watching it on Nick at Nite when I was a kid. I liked it, but I was a bigger fan of The Donna Reed Show and The Patty Duke Show at the time. I became a bigger fan of My Three Sons when The Hallmark Channel aired it.

I first saw this show on WGN and they were showing the 1965-69 episodes. Later on Nick at Nite I saw the earlier and the later episodes.

I’m a more recent viewer of the show. First saw it on MeTV a couple of years ago (starting with season 4). It went off that channel last year. Then saw it on Catchy Comedy (beginning with season 1) and I’m happy to say, I’ve finished the series when they aired the final episode this morning

Born in 1965 so started watching it as reruns in the early 1970s. Back then, most stations only showed the color episodes, not the original B&W ones so I wasn't aware of the older ones until I was an adult and saw them on cable. Like the whole show, but my preference is William Frawley in the role of "Bub" much more than Demarest as Uncle Charlie. Demarest played the part way too blustery and negative. Not a likeable character. Bub (Frawley) was an old softie even when he ordered the boys to do something. Great actor.

The late 70s in reruns on network television in the afternoons. It was only the second version with Uncle Charlie. But when it came on I had vague memories of the later seasons with Dodie but I'm not certain.

Back in the 1960s I watched what my parents watched, and I only vaguely remember the Bryant Park color episodes from 1965 - 1967.

So I really only go back to the 1990s reruns on WHMB, when it comes to the California episodes. And I only realized the later episodes from seasons 11 and 12 were missing when the TV Guide erroneously showed the details of those episodes, and they didn't run. I called the station and the manager said those episodes weren't available. So I didn't see those episodes until I found them on VHS tapes someone made, taken from the Odyssey network. Many of those episodes were and still are heavily edited.

The Fergus episodes that kick off season 12 are really elusive. All 4 are unavailable complete, as are several other episodes from that season.

I've seen the black and white episodes on MeTV. Unlike most others, I prefer the color seasons.
