Hoping For: Bizarre - John Byner - Somewhat Complete?

Has anyone made or knows of any "complete-er" (how's that for a non-word?) sets being compiled in the last few years? I was hoping the other 50-or-so eps not on the commercially released uncensored dvd sets (which I already have) would surface eventually.

According to what I could ferret from internets, there may be more than 2 versions of the show:

1) Original, uncensored Canadian version, also seen on Showtime
2) US "tame" version utilizing alternate takes, camera angles and language bleeping
3) Showtime/rogue terrestrial station editions plus- episodes with some slightly longer with extra sketches that would fill what would, otherwise, be commercial time on regular tv. Some of these were purportedly shown on regular late-night tv in the US uncensored.

Previous topics tended to devolve into long text lists of random show info. But, at least one poster had proposed a set comprised of syndicated, censored episodes being, possibly, re-compiled into as-complete-as-possible versions..

Seems like a massive set would have been possible, by now, including the separate Super Dave shows that got re-run early last decade on a cable channel.

Any discussion or information would be great. If you have a complete or near-complete collection of this show.. you might just have a new PAL!

I have a set of bizarre. It's like a 10 disc set maybe that includes the commercial set. Not sure exactly what's on it. Do you have a set you got that's been circulating for awhile. If so it's probably same one.

I thought by now someone might have cobbled together a complete uncut set. No dice, and it's been a lot of years looking. At this point, I am going to write this one off as a lost cause and be glad for what I already got.

I have 7 6 hr VHS tapes of the Bizarre series from the Canadian Comedy Gold Channel. Do not think it is the complete set but perhaps close. Not sure exactly what version these airings are. I also have the 10 Volume commercially released DVD set.

Despite its flaws, the amount of material covered in the 10 disc set is incredible! I only wish it had been completed originally or followed up on.

I still hope to, one day, get hold of the last season or even better the last two uncut. Thinking back, I can't even remember what local or cable channel ran the cut versions circa '87-88, here. I gave up taping those since they were censored, heavily edited for time and often had whole segments removed or swapped to other episodes. So frustrating.

Man, I'd love to see the near complete series from Comedy Gold reruns myself. I've seen all the episodes maybe once in 2011.
