I have seen most episodes and like any good TV show seasons 2 and 3 are usually the best because it gets its groove. For some reason I stayed away from Season 1 especially with the opening that their "hobby" was murder instead of when they met it was murder.
But anyway I have been watching episodes from season 1. WOW. The chases and fights are far more intense and go on forever. Its insane. I read once that the creators wanted a "James Bond" sort of effect and they nailed it. The Harts always get into trouble but Season 1 was off the chart. Anyone agree? A few other things stuck out to me. They were never detectives yet they play detectives in every episode. One episode in season 1 a woman asks Jennifer to investigate something because "she does it so well." Also in an early episode Jennifer does ask a logical question that we ask every episode. How do we always end up in trouble? Or something like that. Very unique show that was never very popular. I think it hit its peak at #15 in the second or third season. Its so 1980s its amazing. I love to watch it. Very entertaining. |
