This Summer of 2011 The Newlywed Game will celebrate its 45th Anniversary

The Newlywed Game has had 6 hosts:

and so, how do you rank the Hosts of The Newlywed Game from a scale of 1-10?

and here they are:

Bob Eubanks (The KING of The Newlywed Game)
Jim Lange (The KING of The Dating Game & BULLSEYE)
Paul Rodriguez (Veteran Stand-Up Comedian)
Carnie Wilson (Daughter of Legendary Beach Boy Brian Wilson)
Sherri Shepherd (Suddenly Susan and The View)
Gary Kroeger (The Shaggy Dog, Beat the Clock on PAX and SNL Alumni)

Please share your thoughts on all of them

I never was a fan of this show although I did watch it on occasion. My thoughts:

Bob Eubanks: The perfect host of this show, nothing more needs to be said.

Jim Lange: I've never seen his version so I can't give an honest opinion.

Paul Rodriguez: See above comment and the words Paul Rodriguez and legendary have no business in the same sentence.

Carnie Wilson: The promos for her version were enough to let me know that I should find something better to watch.

Sherri Shepherd: See previous comment.

Gary Kroeger: Never heard of him.

Bob Eubanks would definitely be a 10. It was his most successful show and it established him as one of the top game show hosts of all-time.

Jim Lange would be an 8. He's a very solid host who can handle any type of format.

Gary Kroeger would be about a 6. He blends in humor but didn't have the hosting experience.

Sherri Shepherd would be around a 6. She defies game show host stereotypes as an African-American female who does a fine job.

I won't rank Carnie Wilson since I have not seen any of the episodes she has hosted.

As for the worst Newlywed Game host, it would be Paul Rodriguez. It's not the right show for him and he tries to be funny too much instead of listening to the contestants, which is what makes veterans like Bob Barker and Bill Cullen the creme de la creme of game show hosts. Rodriguez gets a big giant 0. The producers made a big mistake in replacing Eubanks with Rodriguez.

Paul, nope, never saw an episode he hosted.

Carnie Wilson was ok but I knew it wouldn't last long.

Sherri Shepherd needs to try to hold on to the View.

Gary, don't know who that is.
