Yes, most likely they were by Audiences Unlimited. Sadly, that company closed in 2020. While I lived in Los Angeles, I got to be a Page at not only CBS in 2007 during Bob Barker's final season of The Price Is Right... I got to be a Page at Audiences Unlimited! This company started circa 1982. I think it was the first page company. Before that, I think the actual studios had pages, such as CBS, Paramount, NBC, et. and they used them to page the sitcoms. Not sure what they did with Metromedia before 1982? Maybe used NBC pages for shows that aired on NBC/ CBS ones for those that aired on CBS? And ABC, who knows as they didn't have an ABC Page program...or maybe they used one of those other studios for paging those prior to 1982? My company did all the sitcoms from 1982 up until 2020, unless On Camera Audiences/1Iota got the show over them. We lost a few shows to 1iota in the end, such as Punky Brewster, but we still had the bulk of the sitcoms. I got to Page at Mike And Molly, Mom, 2 Broke Girls, Fuller House, Girl Meets World, The Conners, The Big Bang Theory, One Day At A Time, America's Funniest Videos, The American Music Awards, and many others between 2014-2019! |

Wow, season 1 and 2 had some tight turnarounds between taping and airing. Season 4 of The Golden Girls was also pretty tight. I wonder what happened during GaB season 2 where there was a month long hiatus from September to October. Nell’s drug issues and going to rehab? Anyone know when they actually shot on location at the World’s Fair? The hotel scenes were in the studio in LA,
on 9/4/84, but I couldn’t find anything about when they went to New Orleans. Sometime in August 1984? |
