I grew up in the 70s and 80s and Howard Cosell was NEVER my idea of "fun"! I couldn't stand the guy even when I was a boy! He was just an obnoxious big mouthed know it all!

I get the tv station Turner Classic Movies and what I see which disturbs me is Smoking. I do wonder how many actors later died of diseases due to smoking. Actor takes a good long drag on his cigar, or cigarette. You don't see smoking on tv or many movies. Some but not as much as 70 years ago. I do get a kick of see older techology of phones, typewriters, cars, soda fountains.

I haven't read the thread yet so I may be repeating things. On TV shows, ashtrays, rolodex, answering machines, encyclopedias, all things common on desks back in the day but not now.
