Chico and the Man's Opening and Closing Credits During Season 4

I think Chico and the Man should have done what All in the Family would do a few years later when it became Archie Bunker’s Place. After Freddie Prinze died, Chico was replaced by Raul. However, the opening and closing credits remained the same. If you know the songs, they’re both singing about Chico. That doesn’t make much sense to me when watching season four and the opening and closing theme songs are singing about Chico when he’s not even there anymore. I know they tried acting like Raul was the “New Chico”, but he wasn’t. His story wasn’t the same as Prinze’s Chico.

I think they should have kept the tune but removed the lyrics. That’s what happened when All in the Family became Archie Bunker’s Place in 1979.
