Supporting cast on this show was one of the best ever. But they run circles around Ray Romano who was such a whiny weenie. If someone else had been lead actor instead, Everybody Loves Raymond title could have been kept as Robert was great at saying it.
John Ritter- naturally would have been fantastic
Richard Kind- Ray would have been really quirky with this unique actor.
Tim DeKay- Bizarro Jerry would have made a good every man lead.
Peter Krause- He was a great lead drama actor on 9-1-1, probably would have done well here as well.
^^^ I can't see Richard or the late John Ritter playing such a character. I don't know the other two guys well enough and so I can't say anything about how well they would do.
