Question Worst episode ever made??

I would say the worst episode, stupidest, waste of time & $ ever made for Twilight Zone is Hocus-Pocus & Frisby. Its the most stupidest episode ever made; I can't watch this one; I skip it.

What do you think????

My least favorite is "Young Man's Fancy".

This may be controversial but I never liked "It's a Good Life". I thought it was irritating to be honest.

Season 4 had several painfully drawn out episodes since the writers were so used to making half-hour shows. My least favorite that season may be "The Incredible World of Horace Ford". I haven't seen it more than once or twice though.

"The Fear" was probably the worst-written and worst-performed episode IMO. Very sloppy writing and overly-dramatic acting. That was, I think, the final one that Rod Serling wrote, so understandably he'd be getting burnt out. Still, I enjoy it for its good points and I like the "monster" at the end.

I actually don't mind "Hocus Pocus and Frisby". It was one of their more whimsical episodes and I found it kind of amusing.

I always thought season 4 was very underrated. My favorite of the 18 produced is "In His Image" which was actually the first episode I ever saw in 1972. I may be in the minority, but "The Incredible World of Horace Ford" is actually among my favorites.

Oh definitely, I agree that season 4 made some great episodes. I was just saying the bad episodes that season were even more so due to the extended runtime. "In His Image", as you mentioned, was brilliant, and I also loved "Death Ship", "The New Exhibit", "On Thursday We Leave For Home", and "Printer's Devil" (with Burgess Meredith in a rare villain role).

I may give "Horace Ford" another try someday. Like I said I haven't seen it that much.

One episode I never cared for was the Invaders. With just one character in the show and not much dialog , the episode wore me out.

I could never get used to the pacing of the hour-long shows when watching in syndication, so I tend to agree. When I did finally get to see "Miniature" though, I loved the premise and it quickly became one of my favorite eps.

It's been a long time since I've seen the Horace Ford episode, but the other TZ stories that are related to time travel always tend to be among my favorites (especially the ones with Gig Young and Albert Salmi). So I'd probably enjoy it the next time around.

Don't remember the specific title of the episode but it was the one with Carol Burnett that irked me. Terrible episode.

Surprisingly and ironically, I enjoyed the other episode which had a similar character but instead with a Male counterpart. It was the episode, "Mr. Bevis" starring Orson Bean. Similar plot line but Orson Bean had an endearing quality which made me enjoy the episode.

This was a rare attempt at comedy. Another one like this was the Buster Keaton time travel episode. As good as the premise was, and as talented as these producers are, they cannot write comedy. At least, not in a Twilight Zone setting. For me, these episodes are mostly ruined by futile attempts at humor.
