This episode is so lame ! The guest actor is so dis-likeable !
If they had kept him as a regular the series probably would have failed !

Agreed! One of the worst episodes. "Helping a stranger" episodes were a lame trope in the '60s/early '70s and MTM was so much better when it concentrated on its wonderful regulars.

I'll add the very next episode as another stinker, S1 E 6 Support Your Local Mother.
I'm not a fan of Strong Masculine OVERBEARING Women like Rhoda and her mother is even more so.
